BMC would like to give a big thank you to all those who participated in the One Billion Rising live taping on February 14th. The production crew included Chris Buckles, Matt Sullivan, Elizabeth Mahoney, Paul Carey, Jeremy Meserve, EJ Johnson, Adam Dusenberry and Julie DeStefano. Also thank you to Tomi Olson and Stacey Hammerlind for organizing and hosting the event. This was an important event that raised awareness of violence against women. The program will re-air on channels 9/29 and on BMC’s website.
Also thank you to Julie Land for covering lecture on Gun Safety and for her recent coverage of government meetings. The Gun Safety lecture is currently airing on channel 8/28.

THROUGH THE LENS
The producers of "Through the Lens" are looking for a few volunteer camera operators and an audio operator for their next show taping on Friday, March 1st at 8:00 p.m. Crew call will be at 7:45pm. HOLOCAUST LECTURE
We are looking for a couple of camera operators, an audio person and technical director for Geoffrey Brahmer’s second lecture to be held at the Belmont Media Center. This lecture will be looking at three bioethical cases from the holocaust. The first case addresses how genetic and economic arguments were used to justify murder of the most vulnerable. The second case addresses the use of cadavers of condemned prisoners for scientific purposes. And the third case addresses the issue of risking one’s own life to save another. Geoffrey Brahmer is a graduate of Harvard Divinity School and a fine arts photographer. He is also the educational coordinator for Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery at the Beth Israel Deaconness Medical Center in Boston.
The lecture will take place at the Belmont Media Center on Monday, March 4th from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.. Crew call will be at 5:30 pm.
