BMC would like to thank the volunteers who helped with last week’s productions. Thank you to Julie Land for videotaping and editing "Belmont Idol" at Belmont High School. We also thank Ken Gustin and Geoff Dutton for their volunteer camera work on the latest episode taping of "Office Hours Live with Will Brownsberger." And thank you to Jeremy Meserve for videotaping the Sustainable Belmont lecture on E-Waste.

 

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

CELESTE ANDRADE PRESENTS  -   BMC producer Celeste Andrade is looking for a volunteer camera crew for her upcoming show taping on Friday, January 18th at 12:30 PM. Crew call will be at 12:00 PM. This is a show that mainly focuses on education in Belmont public schools. Past guests have included School Committee chair Laurie Graham, Belmont High School principal Dan Richards and superintendent Tom Kingston. THROUGH THE LENS  -   The producers of "Through the Lens" are looking for a volunteer camera crew for their show taping on Friday, January 18th at 8:00pm. Crew call will be at 7:30pm. This is a fun show that talks about the latest movies in theaters. For those who love movies, this would be a great production to volunteer for. "IN THE EYE OF THE STORM" LECTURE  -  BMC producers Diane Covert and Stacey Hammerlind are looking for a volunteer crew for recording a lecture in the studio entitled "In The Eye of the Storm." The presenter, Geoffrey Brahmer will discuss the lives, works and choices of six world renowned photographers who lived and worked in Germany during the Nazi Era. Geoffrey Brahmer is the Educational Coordinator for Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He is a graduate of Harvard Divinity School and a fine arts photographer.The taping will be held on Thursday, January 24th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Crew call will be at 5:30pm. This lecture will take place in front of a studio audience. We are looking for a technical director, audio person and three camera operators.
