Spread the Word about Gifts of Hope and Shop Belmont

Dear friends,

If you did not know about it already, the “Gifts of Hope/Food Pantry Telethon” will take place Saturday Dec. 12th, from 12pm to 5pm at Belmont Media Center - LIVE on all Belmont local cable TV channels, and on the web: belmontmedia.org/live.

We ‘ll be featuring some great local entertainers and other guests all day long all for a good local cause helping families and individuals in great need.
Santa Claus will be visiting between 2pm and 3pm, and there will be free donuts and hot chocolate for the kids.

And now YOU can help promote the Telethon and make donation yourself even if you can’t participate in person on Saturday, Dec. 12th.

Come down to BMC, at 9 Lexington Street Waverley Square this coming Monday or Tuesday, Nov. 23 & 24 from 2pm to 7pm and record a short video promoting the upcoming Telethon, or make a donation on the air - in advance, on behalf of yourself or your family, or organization.

If you are Belmont business owner, stop in to make your donation, and if you are involved in one of the 10% Fundraisers, you can promote your own participation and your business, too. All will be run on Channels 8, 9 and 96 for Comcast viewers or Channels 28, 29, or 30 for Verizon viewers and online at belmontmedia.org/live

This is great way to increase donations to the Belmont Food Pantry, promote “Shop Local, Shop Belmont” and give much needed exposure to local business that some folks may not be aware of as a shopping destination this holiday season.

We’ll have prewritten scripts and cue cards on hand for you to read or remind you what to say, so this is easy and fun.
You can park directly in front of BMC on Lexington Street or in the municipal lot on Church Street or on the side streets.

No need to reserve a time, just drop by whenever it’s convenient for you within the times and dates above.
Get involved, speak up and promote shopping local and help those in need this holiday season.
