Crew Call for Election Programs and Director Needed for Studio Show

CONTEMPORARY SCIENCE ISSUES AND INNOVATIONS  -  BMC Producer Yvonne Stapp is looking for a volunteer director for her Contemporary Science Issues and Innovations show. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to get some directing experience. A staff person will be there for training and will oversee the production. OVERRIDE INTERVIEWS  -  We are looking for a volunteer to shoot "On the Street" style interviews with Belmont residents on their position on the Override ballot question. CANDIDATES NIGHT  -  On Thursday, March 26th, BMC will be covering the League of Women Voters’ Candidates Night. This event gives Belmont residents the opportunity to learn more about the candidates running for town-wide office positions and to ask questions. Candidates Night will air live at 7:30 p.m. on channels 8 and 28. We are looking for three volunteer camera operators to assist with the coverage of the event. SELECTMEN DEBATE  -  On Tuesday, March 31st, Belmont Media Center and The Belmontonian will be hosting a Selectmen Debate for the two selectmen candidates Andy Rojas and Jim Williams. This hour-long debate will air live at 5:00 p.m. on channels 8 and 28 and will be moderated by Belmontonian editor Franklin Tucker. We are looking for volunteer camera operators to assist us with the debate coverage, which will take place at Belmont Media Center Studio A. LIVE ELECTION COVERAGE  -  On Tuesday, April 7th Election Day, BMC will be producing a live election program, which will present election results and discussion of Town issues. We are looking for volunteer camera operators to help us with this live program. Election coverage will air live on channels 8 and 28 from 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. Crew call will be at 7:30 p.m. at Belmont Media Center Studio A.
