After visiting the Boston College memorial labyrinth, Billie invites guest creators to make mandalas from a variety of three-dimensional materials. Guest Reda sings an original song and then a group mandala is made from sand.
Guest creators explore memories using a variety of clay materials.
Bobby and Daniel transform discards (recyclables) using wire, duck tape and hot glue. Proving that art can be made from just about anything and imaginations can transform one product into new creations.
Guest Creator Sarah and host Billie Bivins explore the metaphor of bridges by creating a river of fears, dreams and hopes and then constructing a bridge to support the passage.
Billie again attempts to remove the disguises of Cato, the internal critic as guests Maribeth and Wendy use "dangerous" art materials - xacto knives, hot glue guns and needles to risk making art.
The emotional flow of "wet" materials is explained by host and art therapist Billie Bivins. ;Guest creators Tenesha, Martha and Michael spontaneously paint using a variety of styles from abstract to representational art and then process their paintings with Billie.
Guest creators, Charlene and Samantha explore using natural materials - rocks, shells, twigs, birch bark, and red Georgia clay to create spontaneous expressions and art. ;Billie Bivins, art therapist and host, extols the power of natural materials to ground us when we make art.
Show introduces Winnecot's concept of transitional objects and how inanimate objects can be powerful connections with deep emotions. ;Guest creators Ezra and Martha improvise , sewing with hose and stuffing to create critters from their imaginations.
