Meet Professor Jeffrey Hughes (SftPublic 3/13/13)

Jeffrey Hughes, Ph.D., is a Professor of Astronomy and former Chair of the Department of Astronomy at Boston University. He is the Director of the Center for Integrated Space Weather Modeling, which is an NSF Science and Technology Center. Dr. Hughes’ is an international expert on the dynamics of the Earth’s magnetosphere and its interactions with the solar wind and the ionosphere – what is known as space weather.
