Richard Primack, PhD, Professor of Biology, Boston University. A international authority on conservation biology, Dr. Primack has turned his attention in the past decade to the impact of climate change on plants and animals in the Northeast. His particular focus has been on the Walden Pond area of Massachusetts, where records have been kept since the time of Henry David Thoreau. Dr. Primack discusses the diverse ways in which species adapt to climate change, with emphasis on plants.
