Town and School Closings Monday - Oct.29th

Due to the weather emergency, ALL Town and School buildings will be CLOSED on Monday, October 29th.

All Belmont Public Schools and all Town Committee meetings are cancelled for Monday.

The Beech Street Center & Belmont Public Library will be CLOSED.

Current forecasts predict this storm has the potential to cause flooding as well as downed trees and power lines.

Take steps to ensure that your basement is free of valuables which may be damaged in the event that flooding occurs.

Remove leaves and debris from the top of storm drains near your property to reduce the chance of flooding.

Secure all outdoor furniture and barrels, bringing items inside for the duration of the storm to minimize damage caused by flying debris.

The Town of Belmont encourages all residents to prepare for the storm by having nonperishable food, bottled water, flashlights and first aid kits available.
