Norman Katz Presentation: JFK Assassination Anniversary

Former military attache to the U.S. Secret Service, Norman Katz witnessed the assassination of President Kennedy in 1963. Katz came to Belmont High School to speak in May of 2013, the 50th anniversary year of the shooting. Incidentally, the Boston Marathon bombings and apprehension of the alleged perpetrator had just transpired and Katz tied that in to his presentation. While outspoken on many aspects of the Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon presidencies, Katz rigidly adheres to the status quo version (the government's version) of the Kennedy assassination. Nonetheless, he offers a detailed and often graphic account of his time in the Secret Service replete with rarely seen images relating to the assassination.
