Kitchen to Kitchen: Recipe for Tiramisu

Erika Di Tuoro's family recipe for the Italian dessert, Tiramisu featured on "Kitchen to Kitchen's" debut episode.
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups Mascarpone Cheese
- 1 Package Ladyfingers
- 1 Cup Espresso Coffee
- 3 Fresh Eggs
- 1/3 Cup Sugar
- Cocoa powder sprinkle on top
Steps:
1. Make espresso, cool in a large bowl.
2. Prepare the mascarpone cream:
- Separate eggs in 2 bowls.
- Whip the egg whites firmly, then set aside.
- Add sugar to egg yolks, whisk together.
- Once mixed together, add the mascarpone cheese, one tbsp at a time.
- When cheese mixture is smooth, fold the whipped egg whites into it.
3. Assemble the tiramisù:
- Layer bottom of an 8-by-8 pan with 1/3 of the Mascarpone cream mixture.
- Immerse ladyfingers (for a few seconds) into the espresso and layer on top of the cream.
- Add 1/3 layer of. mascarpone cream mixture on top of the lady finger layer.
- Add another layer of ladyfingers soaked in espesso.
- Add final layer of mascarpone cream mixture on top.
- Sprinkle tiramisù with cocoa powder.
4. Cover with foil and refrigerate for two hours.
5. Mangia.
NOTE: Use room temperature ingredients and fresh eggs
