Science for the Public and Friends of the Robbins Library 5/29/13. Amy Smith, Founder and Director of the famous D-Lab at MIT describes the collaborative projects that have transformed villages all over the developing world. The D-Lab works directly with villagers, many of whom are uneducated, to create machines, tools and processes that improve lives and develop entrepreneurs.
